    As followers of Jesus Christ, we believe that we must continuously strive for renewal, to create effective programs and ministries in order to fulfill our mission and vision. To this end, we believe the following represent the best use of our time, talents, energy and resources:

    1. Achieve excellence in worship

    a. Create a culture of worship excellence with music, message

    and delivery.

    b. Clarify and define a renewed Worship Committee to help plan,

    execute and evaluate worship experiences.

    c. Employ effective planning and evaluation, seasonal and weekly, to

    ensure excellence in worship.

    2. Be the hands and feet of Christ to our community

    a. Redefine, restructure and support a Missions Committee.

    b. Identify and support ongoing local mission programs for congregational

    involvement.

    c. Identify and communicate regional, national and international mission

    opportunities for participation and congregational support.

    3. Serve and grow the church family

    a. Establish a vibrant Family Ministries program that attracts and serves

    young families, children, and youth.

    b. Create a culture that supports and promotes experiences and small

    groups that nurture individuals and families.

    c. Establish programs to integrate new members and support existing

    members’ need for education in Methodism.

    4. Achieve excellence in leadership

    a. Redefine, restructure, and support a Lay Leadership Committee that

    embodies a culture of leadership education, teaching, innovation, and

    accountability.

    b. Create a culture of pastoral and lay leadership excellence by defining

    responsibilities as well as building skills and knowledge.

    5. Achieve effective communication

    a. Create a comprehensive communication plan; scope, medium, and

    content.

    b. Implement innovative and inclusive communication plans that inform the

    church family of events, opportunities and leadership issues of interest.

    c. Provide information to the surrounding community regarding church

    events and worship opportunities.
